Assoc. Prof.Evangelos Liatsikos

Dr. Evangelos Liatsikos currently holds the title of Associate Professor the position of Head of the Endourology-Laparoscopy Department at the University of Patras, Greece. He is also a visiting professor of the Department of Urology at the Leipzig University, Germany.

He graduated from the Medical University of Padova and has done his internship in Urology at the University of Patras. His main areas of interest are laparoscopic surgery, percutaneous procedures and flexible ureterorenoscopy. He has also coordinated extensive studies regarding the ureteral stents and single port laparoscopy (LESS).

Dr. Liatsikos has authored over 140 articles, 15 chapters, and written two books. In 2009, he was awarded the “Arthur” Prize during the the 27th World Congress of Endourology.

He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Endourology, European Urology and International Brazilian Journal of Urology.
