Prof. Giampaolo Bianchi

Dr. Giampaolo Bianchi holds the title of Professor of Urology at the Medical University of Modena, Italy, and is Chief of the Department of Urologic Surgery of the University Hospital Modena.

He has graduated the Medical University of Turin and obtained the title of specialist in the field of urology at the Medical University of Padova. He has attended several training courses in various medical centers in Europe and the United States. His main areas of interest are endourology, uro-oncology, laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery.

He is currently the President of the Italian Association of Endourology, member of the Italian Society of Urology and corresponding member of the Belgian Society of Urology and of the American Urological Association.

Prof. Bianchi has authored over 215 scientific papers, 20 chapters and has been quoted in over 453 scientific papers published in the literature.

He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Italian Society of Urology, member of the editorial board of the Journal of Endourology and editorial director of the Italian scientific journal „Urologia".
